Dogsthorpe Medical Centre is proud to be shortly starting the training for the Pride in Practice programme, supported by the NHS, Royal College of GPs and LGBT Foundation.

Pride in Practice is our programme to ensure that all lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people have access to primary care services that are LGBT inclusive and understand the needs of our communities.

LGBT Foundation have been funded by NHS England and Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership (the body overseeing devolution of the £6bn health and social care budget) to support GP Practices, Community Pharmacies, Dental Practices and Optometry outlets through Pride in Practice, a quality assurance service that strengthens and develops primary care services’ relationships with their lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans patients.
